Daniel Audritt + Kat Butterfield are a comedy writing/directing/producing duo who have created videos for Comedy Central, Comic Relief, BBC One, BBC Three and directed the Cannes Lions Awards live broadcast 2021. Their Comedy Central sketch series, Modern Horror Stories, was nominated for Best Writer in the 2020 EdFest New Voice Awards and their Comic Relief sketch Stephen Hawking’s New Voice sketch was broadcast on BBC One, ITV’s This Morning and NBC America. Their breakout viral hit sketch ‘A modern dating horror story’ amassed over 250 million views worldwide and their work has been featured across national news outlets including The Independent, Stylist and Rolling Stone. They’ve written for stars like Jennifer Saunders, Orlando Bloom, Emma Thompson, Anna Kendrick, Stephen Fry, Rebel Wilson, Eddie Redmayne, Kylie Minogue & Lin Manuel Miranda and directed a host of UK comedy talent including Jamie Demetriou, Tom Rosenthal, Lolly Adefope, Tasha Demetriou, Phil Wang & Nick Mohammed and written jokes for Jonathan Ross & Jimmy Carr to name just a few. They’ve written sketches for the cast of Netflix’s Stranger Things and Channel 4’s Derry Girls as well as episodes of young adult comedy dramas Flatmates and Almost Never for BBC iPlayer and CBBC. They’re also co-writers of the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Ability with Lost Voice Guy and the award winning sketch show Please Use Other Door. They’ve recently been developing original series with Disney Plus and ITVX, and they also devise, write, produce, direct and edit award winning commercials for brands and agencies.
